Yumiko Kuga Whisking Bowl

Elevate your matcha ritual with the Yumiko Kuga Whisking Bowl, handmade in NYC by Japanese ceramicist Yumiko Kuga. Inspired by the katakuchi serving bowls used in Japanese sake rituals, this stoneware bowl features tall walls and a spouted rim to create a smooth microfoam without spilling or splashing.

Finished in Kuga’s signature Skim Milk glaze, the surface highlights the vibrant green of matcha and cleans easily under warm water. Each lead-free bowl is one-of-a-kind, showcasing the artistry of handmade craftsmanship.

Pair with the Yumiko Kuga Matcha Cup for the complete set here.
