Round Teapot - Red Clay

We Say

As pleasing as it is to the eye, the shape of this round clay teapot from Azmaya also yields several benefits; the wide opening allows easy placement of the tea leaves, whilst the lid of the teapot is skilfully crafted using the 'Futasuri' rubbing technique - this makes an airtight seal with the main body of the teapot, helping to keep the tea leaves at the perfect brewing temperature inside.

Selector's Notes

Being crafted in the famed Tokoname region of Japan, this teapot includes design features that have evolved over many years. The teapot's handle features a slight notch, which comfortably rests against your finger whilst pouring.
