Ogura Kaori Hojicha is a tea with a great smell and aroma, easy to drink, with no aftertaste.

The quality is already stated in the naming. This tea originates from the Ogura town of Uji, where the tea producer's headquarters and three-hundred-year-old tea plantations are located. "Kaori" means fragrance in Japanese, which completes the image: this extraordinary tea brings the "fragrance of Ogura" into our homes.

How and what is it made of?

The freshest leaves from the first harvest of the year are blended with high-quality, select tea stems and then roasted. Interestingly, these tea stems come from the leaves of tea bushes grown under a shade, which are also ground into powder to make matcha.
