From a tea producer founded in 1790 in Mizu-shu, Joyo City, that has never stopped producing quality tea, this matcha is the fruits of the labor of Magouemon, who founded the company, and devoted himself wholeheartedly to the art of tea-making. Magouemon's founding motto, to contribute to society while producing high-quality, delicious tea, is a philosophy that remains unchanged to this day.

Each leaf is carefully hand-picked near the base of the sprouts and grown in sandy Joyo soil, creating a mild yet deeply flavorful matcha.
