Isuke Wood Bento Box Japanese Lunchbox Asanoha Leaf Pattern

This stylish Asanoha Leaf Pattern bento box is a combination of modern and traditional designs. You'll be the envy of all your friends when you pull out this gorgeous lunch box at your school or office desk, picnic or event.

The urethane and lacquer-coated wood gives it a smooth, easy-to-clean finish, and allows the lid to seal smooth and tight. Its rounded shape is modern, yet the wood grain and traditional Asanoha Leaf pattern on the lid call back to Japan of the past.

The Asanoha pattern is an hexagonal geometric pattern based on the hemp leaf, which has been cultivated in Japan for centuries. The Asanoha pattern can regularly be seen on kimono, Buddhist statues, and even the Japanese national rugby team's uniform.

This bento box can hold a small serving of rice and some side dishes, a typical Japanese lunch, or any other foods you might want to take on the go such as salads, sandwiches, or fruit.

Isuke has been dealing with lacquer and lacquerware in Kyoto for nearly 200 years, their traditional and contemporary Japanese designs are enhanced by the quality materials they use, which results in outstandingly high-quality and luxurious products.
