Iga Cup - Shino-glaze

We Say

Azmaya create simple everyday objects that represent Japanese minimalism at its best. These handcrafted cups from the brand are made using locally sourced clay from the Iga region of Japan. The organic feel of the clay gives the cups a rustic charm, which matches well with most contemporary settings. This one is finished in a white shino glaze, which has a softer feel, and shows hints of light-brown.

Selector's Notes

Iga clay has excellent heat-retention properties, making these cups perfect for tea and coffee alike.
