Handmade Chawan Gold Plum Blossom Design Unique Matcha Tea Cup Bowl

This handmade Japanese chawan tea cup bowl is the perfect vessel to serve matcha, or any other Japanese tea, in a way that will deeply impress your friends and family.

Modern tea cup bowls often feature popular designs from the past. This chawan features the Korin Bai design, which was developed by Ogata Korin, an illustrator and painter who made many popular designs in Kyoto in the 1600s. Korin Bai is one of the most popular chawan tea cup designs, as it features a stark contrast of black and metallic gold, and beautiful red and white blossoms.

This chawan tea bowl has been handmade by an expert potter from Kyoto with decades of experience, so you can rest-assured that it's an exceptional quality, traditional Japanese tea cup.
