Brass & Silver-plate Tray

We Say

A collective of Japanese designers and craftsman, Azmaya collaborate with local artisans, helping to ensure their crafts are kept alive. This silver-plated brass tray is handmade in a small workshop in Tokyo, and makes for a particularly elegant way to serve drinks to your guests. Over time, the silver will loose its lustre, developing unique character and charm.

Selector's Notes

The craftsman, Mr Sakami, applies a special finishing technique to each tray: fine lines are etched on the surface to assist in the oxidisation of the metal, further enhancing its patina through daily use.
