This tea cup and saucer pairing from the brand is a fine example: the cup is made from Amakusa pottery in a small kiln in the Hasami region of Japan, and features an off-white, ash-glaze. The metal saucer is crafted from copper & tin-plate, which contrasts against the ceramic cup - a chic modern take on everyday tableware.

Selector's Notes

The subtle colour of the ash glaze has an interesting, glowing effect when viewed in dark light, as if viewing a milky moon. The colour also pairs well with most types of tea.
